KAMLOOPS — The SPCA has unveiled plans for its new Community Animals Centre in Kamloops.

The 97-hundred square-foot facility, which will be located on Tranquille Road near the airport is a joint partnership between the province and the BC SPCA.

It will include a Spay and Neuter Clinic to combat the overwhelming pet population problem in the region.

It will also include 14 dog apartments and five large cat rooms to promote exercise and socialization for animals in care.

Last year the Kamloops SPCA took in more than 14-hundred animals.
