KAMLOOPS — A pair accused of stealing stamps from the Clearwater post office has been nabbed in Savona.

Clearwater RCMP say the post office was broken into last Saturday, with a large variety of stamps among the items taken.

Yesterday, Kamloops RCMP were alerted to a woman trying to sell stamps in Savona.

When officers tracked the woman down, they found a lot of the stamps taken earlier from the Clearwater post office.

They also found the rental car the woman and her male companion were using was also used in a Tuesday break-in at the BC Liquor Store in Clinton.

The woman and man were wanted on outstanding warrants, and police say they now have another set of charges to deal with.
