Kamloops player helps Delta to B.C. Junior A Lacrosse title

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops lacrosse product Ty Hammer-Jackson played a key role in the Delta Islanders clinching the B.C. Junior “A” Lacrosse championship last night.

Hammer-Jackson, the Islanders faceoff specialist, won 18 of 25 draws in Delta’s overtime win over Coquitlam to clinch the title.

With B.C. hosting, both teams will play in the Minto Cup Canadian junior championship.
