KAMLOOPS — RCMP have joined the investigation into a house fire in Sahali this morning.

Kamloops Fire Rescue got the call just before 2:30 a-m, at a home on Morrisey Place.

When crews arrived, they found the home's carport fully involved, including several vehicles, and flames licking at the outside of the home.

One room in the home was extensively damaged before firefighters doused the flames.

No cause has been determined, but in addition to a KFR investigator, RCMP are trying to determine if the fire may have been deliberately set.
