Kamloops woman tells her story of meeting Muhammad Ali

KAMLOOPS — Muhammad Ali is being remembered around the world this week as an athlete, boxer, philanthropist, humanitarian and cultural icon.

The high regard with which he was held will be very much in evidence on Friday, with stars from every walk of life, kings and presidents in attendance at Ali’s memorial.

A Kamloops woman, and one of our former Broadcast Centre colleagues, met Muhammad Ali more than 30 years ago.

This is the story of that meeting.
