KAMLOOPS — The Community Advisory Committee into the environmental assessment for the proposed KGHM-Ajax mine wants the public to get another crack at input into the project.

John Schleiermacher of the Kamloops Area Preservation Association says, considering the amount of feedback the mine company still needs to clarify, the public will need another chance to comment.

“Have an opportunity to review the proponents response to the 2000 questions that accumulated during the recent 75 day comment period, we want to make sure this is a rigorous process, an open transparent process and the community has a full opportunity to be part of the process, ” says Schleiermacher.
