KAMLOOPS — Police are trying to determine who ditched a car after a failed traffic stop in Brocklehurst early this morning.

An officer tried to pull the vehicle over after noticing it driving erratically, but the driver didn't stop.

Instead, the car was found near Happyvale Avenue and Singh Street, with two of the three occupants gone.

The third, a 19-year-old man, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Corporal Jodi Shelkie says RCMP would like some help determining who was driving the vehicle.

"It's a two-door car, we know who the registered owner is from running the license plate, and so on. Now we just have to figure out who the two people were that were driving it, in the front seat, and the passenger seat," said Shelkie.

Shelkie notes the 19-year-old in custody is not being very helpful.
