KAMLOOPS — Veteran councillor Pat Wallace was back at her seat around the council table yesterday afternoon.

Wallace hasn't been able to attend council functions since she was injured in a fall in early March.

She says she's relieved to be able to represent Kamloops residents once again.

"Absolutly thrilled to be back, it gives your good direction being on Council, and you have a reason to get up and do things," said Wallace.

Wallace expressed her thanks to her fellow councillors, city staff, and members of the community for their generosity and well-wishes during her recovery.
