Schubert crash victim identified

KAMLOOPS — The BC Coroners Service has identified the victim of a fatal crash on the Kamloops North Shore early Saturday morning.

He was 30 year old Justin David Conrad Brewster of Kamloops.

Brewster was behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer traveling northbound on Schubert Drive when he lost control.

The vehicle careened through a fence and several trees before coming to rest.

Brewster was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP say speed may have been a factor, and are awaiting autopsy results to determine whether drugs or alcohol were also factors.
