Suspected overdose kills one and sends two to hospital in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — RCMP were called to assist B.C. Ambulance at 2nd Avenue and Victoria Street at 2:45 this afternoon where three men were being treated.

RCMP Staff Sergeant Robert Daly says two men were taken to hospital and a third male, a 41 year old, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say foul play is not suspected but alcohol and drugs are considered to be contributing factors.
