KAMLOOPS — A lifelong science educator from Kamloops was honoured today by B.C. Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon.

Gordon Gore is associated with teaching science and his love of photography, and today at the Hamlets in Westsyde was presented with the Meritorious Service Cross by the Lieutenant Governor for his many community contributions.

Gordon has a passion for science, that is best demonstrated by the creation of the 'Big Little Science Centre'.

It provides children and adults with a hands- on learning experience.

Humbled by today's honour he says those who are now involved with the Centre should also be recognized.
