Body located on the Tk’emlups reserve

KAMLOOPS — RCMP were called at approximately 1:00 PM on February 6th, 2016 to a report given by a hiker that a deceased body was located in the rural area of the Kamloops Indian Reserve.

The hiker had been hiking in the rural area when the body was discovered. The Kamloops Rural RCMP, RCMP Serious Crime Unit, and BC Coroners Service have deemed that this investigation is not criminal in nature and the matter has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service
