RCMP arrest suspect in Valleyview motel murder

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have made an arrest in one of the city’s two January homicides.

According to a news release, a 65 year old Kamloops man has been arrested for murder in the death of a 49 year old man discovered January 26 at the 4 Seasons Motel in Valleyview.

Police have still yet to reveal the identity of the victim or the suspect.

At the time of the victim’s discovery, police said there was no danger to the public.
