MERRITT., B.C. — VSA Maintenance, the company that contracts a portion of the Coquihalla Highway, has taken to YouTube to express it's frustration over the traveling public.

The company has reported a number motor vehicle incidents this Winter, involving the public and VSA maintenance vehicles.

VSA filmed a short three-minute film depicting its daily duties and the dangers involved.

Staff warn that when a plow is taken off the road because it has been involved in a collision, it impacts the entire traveling public.

VSA staff say if a driver passes a snow plow on the right, you're not just endangering yourself, but your passengers and the plow truck operator.

At the time the film was published, there had been nine incidents involving maintenance vehicles and the public since the beginning of winter.

A couple more incidents have since been reported.
