Blazers 2-for-2 on East Division road trip

KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops Blazers began their six game East Division road trip on the weekend with wins in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

Friday night Collin Shirley scored twice and set up another goal to lead the Blazers to a 6-2 win over his hometown Saskatoon Blades.

Saturday in Prince Albert the Blazers defeated the Raiders 5-2.

Deven Sideroff scored twice and had one assist while team captain Matt Needham set up the first four goals.

The Blazers at 14-10-3-1 remain in fourth place in the B.C. Division, eight points behind Prince George, and with three games in hand.

Their prairie road trip continues tomorrow night (December 15) in Regina.
