KAMLOOPS — A prominent local filmmaker, Adam MacKay-Smith, has had one of his famous 'Johnny Canuck' videos featured by Canucks Sports and Entertainment again.

This time, the video used a Kamloops prop, the 2141 steam locomotive - standing in as the 'West Coast Express.' The steam train shots were filmed on November 20.

MacKay-Smith told CFJC Today, "I grew up playing on the train when it sat in Riverside Park as a kid, so it's a dream of mine to make a movie with it years later."

Hummingbird Drones, a local Kamloops business, also helped with the production.

The video aired last night in Rogers Arena as the Canucks welcomed back the 'West Coast Express' line of Markus Naslund, Brendan Morrison, and Todd Bertuzzi.
