Blazers dominate in 9-1 win over Cougars

It's was the third meeting of the season between the Kamloops Blazers and Prince George Cougars.

The Blazers won the first two, both at the Sandman Centre, by a combined score of 11-3.

The Blazers took the early lead in this one, Sideroff to Quinney behind the Cougars defense and beats Nick McBride for a shorthanded goal.

Prince George tied it shortly after. Brogan O’Brien is stopped on the first shot, but goes around the net and hauls in the rebound.

The cougars had several changes to take the lead, but the Blazers piled on the goals, adding another 8 to defeat the Cougars 9-1.

Colin Shirley with a five point night on two goals and three assists. Quinney with the first hat trick of his WHL career and an assist. 

The Blazers have now won six of seven, have 13 out of 14 points in the last seven games.
