The Blazers are still looking for their first win of the season after dropping two in Victoria this weekend.
Mistakes and Turnovers have been costly.
This one on a Royals power play leads to a tic tac toe with Chaz Reddekop finishing off to give Victoria a 1-0 lead.
The Blazers tie it on their power play —– Jake Kryski with his second of the season from Rehill and Zaharichuk.
Royals captain Joe Hicketts made an impact —– in a couple of ways —- putting the shoulder into Zaharichuk.
Then setting up Victorias second goal on the power play —- Hicketts becomes the Royals alltime career assists leader for defenceman.
And adds another one when the stretch pass sends Tyler Soy in alone for what would become the winning goal.
Then Hicketts with another big hit —- on Garrett Pilon.
In the final minute of the third Nolan Kneen scores his first Western League goal — from Zaharichuk and Kryski.
Connor Ingram comes out for a sixth attacker but they get no more as Victoria wins 4-2 to go to 3-and-0 on the season.
Game two —- on a 3-on-1 in the final minute of the first Matthew Phillips gives Victoria a 2-0 lead.
Midway through the first Nick Chyzowski scored his first of the season from Bast and Kneen, to cut the lead in half.
But the Royals would pull away with back to back power play goals —— both set up by Joe Hicketts.
The Blazers drop to 0-and-4 and are back home to host the Tri City Americans on Wednesday.
