KAMLOOPS — After the first half, it looked like the Kamloops Broncos would keep the score respectable against the powerhouse Langley Rams. The second half was another story.

The defending BCFC Champs and National Championship runners-up beat the Broncos at Hillside Stadium 64-7 on Saturday night. The Rams scored 43 points in the second half, including a touchdown on the final play of the game.

Bronco’s Head Coach Rob Ellis wasn’t exactly thrilled the Rams decided to run up the score.

“I understand it. Do I appreciate it? Not too much,” Ellis said in a post-game press scrum. “That’s the style of play that team has, and it’s not our style of play, so I’ll just leave it at that.”

The loss drops the Broncos to 0-2 on the 2019 season, while the Rams move to 2-0.

The Broncos travel to Nanaimo to take on the Vancouver Island Raiders on August 17th. Their next home game is August 24th against the Valley Huskers.
