WolfPack finish 3rd at CCBC playoffs
KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball season is over after a loss in the semi-finals on Sunday morning to Okanagan College Coyotes. The final score was 5-2.
Tyler Hodder (Fort McMurray, AB) got the start on the mound for the ‘Pack. He suffered the loss, despite throwing well. Hodder threw seven innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits and four walks while striking out four batters. Dillon Ferguson (Kirkland, WA) threw two innings, allowing one run on no hits and a walk. He struck out three batters.
Offensively, Adam Filmon (Winnipeg, MB) and Josh Hillis (Calgary, AB) drove in the two WolfPack runs. Filmon went 1-4. Cole Paquin (Regina, SK) went 3-4 with a walk. Connor McKenzie (Kamloops, BC) had two hits and a run scored. Josh Snider (Moses Lake, WA) finished 1-3 with two walks. Liam Rihela (White Rock, BC) and Malik James (Toronto, ON) both went 1-5. Matt Pidlisecky (Abbotsford, BC) also had a base hit.
