Sewer work expected to snarl traffic in Brocklehurst starting Monday
KAMLOOPS — The project replacing a major sewage pipe north of the Thompson River is moving into its final phase, but this one will be the most noticeable to Kamloops residents.
Starting Monday (May 29), crews will begin to dig up the gravity main beneath Tranquille Road from Aviation Way to Crestline Street in Brocklehurst.
City of Kamloops Capital Projects Manager Darren Crundwell says it’s a milestone for the multi-million dollar project.
“It started in about February, but we’re now at the stage where we are going to be impacting Tranquille Road,” said Crundwell.
