City of Kamloops now accepting Christmas trees for recycling
KAMLOOPS — With the end of the Christmas season comes the question of what to do with your Christmas trees.
While artificial trees will be stored in garages and basements all across Kamloops, there are plenty of options for those looking to get rid of their real Christmas trees.
“Some of the busier sites that we see each and every year are the three yard waste sites – Cinnamon Ridge, Barnhartvale landfill, as well as the Bunker Road yard waste site near McGill,” said City of Kamloops Streets and Environmental Services Manager Glen Farrow.
“Those are ideal locations because we have lots of storage capacity and lots of room for Christmas trees there.”
