Cariboo residents awake to white wonderland; snow expected on Coquihalla too

KAMLOOPS — It was a wintery morning in the South Cariboo where residents awoke to as much as five centimetres of snow.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Armel Castellan says motorists driving the Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Kamloops can expect up to two centimetres today as well.

Conditions improving for BC Wildfire Service, still plenty of work to be done

KAMLOOPS — With the nights getting longer and temperatures throughout the province falling well into the single digits overnight, the fight against wildfires throughout the province has now swung in favour of the BC Wildfire Service.
