Justin Bieber’s Being Sued…Again

Justin Bieber is being sued by a guy who claims the singer punched him in 2016.

The Wrap reports that in the suit, filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Rodney Tobias Cannon says the alleged incident took place at the Westin Hotel in Cleveland in June of 2016.

Cannon claims Bieber “suddenly became irate” when he took a picture of the star, and then used “racial epithets” to “aggressively threat harm” to Cannon “if the photograph was not deleted.”

Cannon claims when he tried to walk away from Justin, the singer grabbed his shirt and then punched him, “making harmful contact with Plaintiff’s face, head and body.” He also claims that a member of Justin’s security detail “struck him in the back of the head,” rendering him unconscious.

As a result of the incident, the lawsuit claims Cannon “sustained injuries to his face, head and back” which have caused “great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering.”

Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun took to Twitter to address the lawsuit. “Justin Bieber has done a lot of stupid things in his past but what he has also done is apologize and own those mistakes. This most recent claim against him is completely false and a fabrication from a man who tried to push for money for the last several years,” Scooter first tweeted.

Scooter went on to slam the “disgusting” claims, saying that this is something they’ve been fighting for years. “It is disgusting to me to see this man lie and try to bring race into a situation to scare us into a payment again,” Scooter continued. “He never said these things before because they never happened. This is a smear tactic to get money and it’s gross.”
