Victor Kaisar - Reporter
Victor joined the CFJC Today news team in November of 2024 after six years at Radio NL in Kamloops. He grew up in Calcutta, India, and hated everything about the news until he made the move to Canada in August 2011 to study broadcast journalism.
After graduating from Fanshawe College with diplomas in radio and TV journalism, Victor left Ontario for what was supposed to be a brief two months as an intern at Newcap TV in Lloydminster. Instead of going back, he moved further west and spent about four-and-a-half years at CKBA-FM in Athabasca, before moving to Kamloops in 2018.
Outside of the newsroom, you’ll find Victor hosting trivia nights at bars around Kamloops or refereeing soccer games in the summer months.
Victor enjoys whatever little spare time he has by going to concerts and sporting events, binge watching TV shows and movies, and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen.
He also likes to believe he’s the king of dad jokes.
