Swagath Swamy, originally from India, moved to Kamloops in 2019. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Thompson Rivers University, she joined the CFJC newsroom in 2023. She has always been passionate about working in the media industry.

She enjoys dancing, writing poetry, watching movies and attending theatre performances in her free time. She is also a fan of stand-up comedy.
