Noah Rishaug - Reporter / Radio Anchor

Noah Rishaug is CFJC’s newest hire. Born, raised and educated in Edmonton, Alberta. Noah has always had a passion for the way the world works, and finds joy in telling others about it. As the child of two broadcasters, Noah had been exposed to the news world for his whole life, and since the age of 16 has been working to build a career as a journalist.

Both of Noah’s parents had lived in Kamloops at one point or another in their lives. He is connected to Kamloops through his family here.

Noah finds enjoyment in documentaries, and is driven by a hunger for knowledge. Noah takes interest in very niche topics, like geography, aviation and world events. Noah will dive deep into the conversations of our times to learn, and better understand the world’s subtle workings.

Noah was educated at NAIT in Edmonton through the radio-television program. Where he learned how to use a camera, and tell stories. CFJC is Noah’s first job in the broadcast journalism world, however Noah has both served as an intern video-journalist for a not-for-profit back in Alberta. Noah has additionally worked as a production assistant on the past three World Juniors competitions in Edmonton.

Noah is excited to get to know the city of Kamloops, and to develop his career in the television news industry.
