It is with great sadness that the family of Adan Marcos Zamudio announces his passing on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in Kamloops, BC at the age of 74 after a brief illness.
Marcos will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Mirtha (nee Hoffmann), his children, Alejandra Zamudio, Lorena (Jason) Sirianni, and Stevan (Kerri) Zamudio. He will also be fondly remembered by his 9 grandchildren, Isabelle, Ryan, Natasha, Sofia, Jakob, Payton, Gabriela, Lucia, and Carmen, his numerous siblings Cristina (Marcelo), Isidro (Marta), Jorge (Norma), Quike (Carmen), Mari (Pascual), Nelly (Miguel-deceased), as well as many nieces and nephews that live in Argentina, Australia and Canada.
Marcos was predeceased by his parents, Adan Israel and Dolores (nee Cespedes) Zamudio, brothers Miguel, Carlos (Maria), and Cacho (Nidia) Zamudio.
Marcos was born on July 27, 1944, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He met his wife Mirtha and they married November 8, 1969. Seven years later, in 1976, Marcos immigrated to Canada with his wife and two daughters so that he could provide a better life for them. In Canada they were blessed with the birth of their son. He devoted himself to caring for his wife and children by working hard at various jobs in Alberta and British Columbia. He enjoyed fixing and building things, gardening, and watching soccer. Marcos left a legacy of kindness and servanthood as he always sought to help others in need to the glory of God in obedience to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with whom Marcos is now worshipping in heaven.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home as well as to the doctors and nurses at Royal Inland Hospital 5 South for the wonderful care given to Marcos.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at 2pm at Christ Community Church 1132-8th Street, Kamloops, BC. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home in memory of Marcos would be appreciated.
