Woodside, Lee "Woody"

Lee Woodside (Woody) passed away on New Year’s Eve, 2016, at the age of 84, after a short illness at RIH. He leaves behind numerous friends who loved him dearly. Lee was born in PEI, but lived many places, with the last being Kamloops, BC. He had quite a life, and had plenty of stories, especially of his days in the navy.
“Woodbug” loved fishing, camping, hunting and good times with his friends. He was a proud member of the Anavets, The Royal Canadian Legion, and The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge.
He proudly presented a Remembrance Day wreath each year in honour of all of his fellow veterans. Woody will always be remembered for his love of cards, joking with his friends and “Uncle Gibby.”
The trailer park boys are together again. Cheers to you, “smartie!”
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Loyal Order of Moose, Branch 1552, would be appreciated. A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held at the Moose Lodge on January 28th, at 11:00am.
