April 25, 1955 – August 30, 2024    

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William ‘Dale’ Leonard on August 30, 2024. 

Dale was born on April 25, 1955, to Joseph and Vivian Leonard in Port Angeles, Washington.

The family moved to Vernon then settled in Kamloops. Dale married the love of his life Linda in a triple wedding in their living room 39 years ago. Dale worked in the maintenance department for SD73 for 19 years then did the log work and maintenance for Sun Rivers Golf Course. Prior to retirement he worked for Sun Ridge Contracting.

Dale has three sons Brett (Natalie), Kurt (Kaylea) and Coltin (Chelsea), daughter Aimee (Andrew), 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Dale had the biggest heart and always helped those in need around him. He would give the shirt off his back. 

We know he will always watch over us, guide us and keep us true. He will be greatly missed. 

Wake September 4, 5 and 6. 

Funeral Service Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Moccasin Square Gardens, 357 Chief Alex Thomas Way, Kamloops.

Hand Drummers Welcome.
