July 9, 1941 – February 14, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom and Nan. 
Survived by her daughter Glenda (Dave), son Greg, her precious grandchildren Michelle (Firman), Ken (Sara), her greatest joy – great-grandson Nolan, brothers Orville (Mabel), Vernon (Bea), Duane,(Gwen) Dale (Sharon), sisters Phyllis (Kelly), Lois (Roy), Valerie (Ron), sister-in laws Ila, Joyce, Mary, Ellen Wiklund and too many nieces and nephews and friends to list. Predeceased by her husband Al, brothers Lyle, Les and Gordon. 
She was a generous, caring person who loved to laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor which endeared her to everyone she met and it is a great testament to her nature that she formed so many friendships over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street, Kamloops at 2:00pm. Reception to follow. Should you wish donations can be made to the Kamloops Cancer Clinic or the Prince George Hospice House.
