January 2, 1963 – February 16, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Christopher Watters.
Chris is survived by his wife Susan Watters, his sister Dawn and her daughter Marysha, all his step children and grandchildren and of course his many other relatives and friends.
Chris was born in Glendale, California. He lived in Burbank California until the age of 9 and then moved to the San Fernando Valley. His mother had a small cottage on the beach in Mexico that he would visit a few times over the summer and he loved the ocean and the times spent there with his family.
Chris was a concrete finisher by trade and took great pride in what he did. As a child he was very inquisitive and loved to do things with his hands. He would often take things apart just to put them back together again.
Chris loved music, and it was at a music festival where he met the love of his life Susan. They were together for over ten years and still in love to the end.
A Funeral Service will be held on February 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive, with Pastor Darrell Hellquist officiating.
A potluck and gathering will be held after the service at 253 Ferry Rd in McLure.
