May 11, 1932 — October 14, 2023

Viola, a beacon of love and strength, departed this world on October 14, 2023 after valiantly battling Alzheimer’s.

Her legacy remains a testament to the warmth and connection she brought into the world. Her memory lives on through her three children, Pat (Mike) Thorpe, Brian, and Owen, and her three treasured grandchildren, Ricki, Gordon, and Tanner.

Throughout her life, she remained a steadfast pillar of support for her kin, a shining light that will forever remain in their hearts and minds.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry in 2009, and tragically, she bid farewell to her beloved daughter Colleen (Larry) Hewitt on July 25, 2023. Despite life’s challenges, Viola faced her trials with grace and an enduring spirit. Her family finds comfort in the knowledge that she now rests eternally amidst the peace of the cosmos.
