Tsehay A. Asress

Tsehay A. Asress of Kamloops passed away on March 18, 2020 at 59 years of age.
She is survived by her loving husband Aberra Asress, children Binyam ( Genine) Asress of Calgary, AB, Caleb Asress of Vancouver, BC, Ammanuel (Sarah) Aberra of Edmonton, AB, Teigst (Matthew) Asress of Calgary , AB, Zerubbabel (Ella) Asress of Surrey, BC and Kdst Asress of Kamloops, BC, grandchildren; Hadassah (8), Nia (7), Isaiah (6), Zephaniah (5), Rebekah (5), her brother Lemma (Shittaye) Degeffa of Addis Abeba, nieces and nephews; Dawit Lemma, Yodit Lemma and Gedeon Lemma.
Tsehay was predeceased by her dad and survived by her mom Worke Tuffa.
Tsehay grew up, got married and bore her first two sons in Ethiopia. The family migrated to Kenya in 1981 where she bore her third son. They then immigrated to BC, Canada in 1988. She bore three more children which included two girls. Tsehay modeled a life of selfless love, making a lasting impact on her family and all who knew her well. Her steadfast faith in Jesus never diminished to the end, inspiring hope and comfort to those who sought to bring her comfort. She will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will take place March 26th at 1:00 pm at the Hillside Cemetery with Annette Maione officiating.
