It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Terry Conrad (TC) Steinthorson, beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, on October 8, 2025 at the age of 73. Terry was a doting husband to Dorothy Steinthorson, a devoted brother to Ken Steinthorson and uncle to Harley Steinthorson, a loving father to Heidi Friesen [Adam Friesen], Janna Fisk [Chad Fisk], and a proud grandfather to Marcus Friesen, Nolan Friesen, Henry Fisk and Annie Fisk. He was blessed with a lot of dear friends and an extended family that includes many relatives and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Lee Steinthorson, mother, Ruby Steinthorson and his father, Joe Steinthorson.

As a beacon and sounding board for many, his unexpected departure has left a profound void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Born in Sherridon, Manitoba, Terry lived a life marked by his knowledge, integrity, and unwavering dedication to his family. He was known for his hard work, a man of many trades, his pursuit of knowledge, love of dogs, changing hobbies, as well as his gift for the gab, owning the conversation with whomever he was talking with.

Though his time with us was cut short, he was doing what he loved the most during his final moments, hiking with his beloved dog, Benji Steinthorson. The memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy is one of strength, reverence, and deep familial bonds.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on November 10, 2025 at Schoening Funeral Service, 513 Seymour St, Kamloops, BC, beginning at 2:30pm. All who knew him are welcome to attend the tea room to gather and share in honoring his memory. “Afi Steinthorson” will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
