December 8, 1925 – August 26, 2017

Verna Doreen Stanley (nee Ostertag) passed away peacefully at Pine Grove Care Home August 26, 2017 at age 91. Lovingly remembered by sons Bruce (Audrey), Scott (Janet) and grandchildren Brent (Maia), Amy (Tyson), Tim (Suzanne), Rebecca (Stewart), Laura and Michael and 10 great-grandchildren as well as many friends and relatives. Doreen was predeceased by husband Norm, daughter Sheila, sister Jean and parents Mel and Laura. After living most of their years on the lower mainland, Doreen and Norm moved to Kamloops to live their remaining years near son, Bruce. No formal service by request.
