“To one who bears the sweetest name,
And adds luster to the same,
long life to her,
for there’s no other
who takes the place of my
Dear Mother”
It is with sadness in my heart that my mother, Sheila Joyce Sinner of Kamloops, BC, left us on Wednesday November 8, 2023, at the age of 77. In loving memory of spouse Johnny (Charles Johnston-Watson, 2006), parents Philip (1971) and Martha (1987), siblings Sharon (2004), Jay (2021) and Reuben (2022). Dearly missed by her daughter Tracy, grandboys Zackary and Jarod, siblings Kathy, Robert, Linda and Nedra along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Sheila grew up on the farm in Stony Plain, Alberta. As a young woman she started a new journey that led her to Watson Lake, Yukon where she later met Johnny and a new adventure began. In 1985 after many experiences in different places throughout Canada, Sheila and Johnny settled once again in Kamloops, BC with their daughter Tracy. In 1993 she became a loving and dedicated Granny and in 1997 spread her Granny wings once again. A devoted daughter, mom, granny, wife, sister, friend; we will all miss her loving ways, listening ear and sought out advice (even the unsolicited advice).
My mommy, my mom, my mother; forever changing, forever the same. With all the love to carry every school photo, there is no other love quite the same. Please celebrate my mom’s life with the memories she left behind to each of you, unspoken gifts she did not realize she gave. If she touched your heart, even in the simplest way, the greatest gift to share is to celebrate your loved ones and remember her. In our hearts always & forever.
If desired contributions can be made in my mom’s name to Rheumatoid Arthritis & Osteoporosis, Lung & Heart Foundation, or Neurology research. Thank you.
Now she flies with the hummingbirds.
You may offer a message of condolence at Cypress Funeral & Cremation Services for the Sinner family.
