Brother’s Alvin (Dale), Roy (Diana), sisters Betty (Lloyd) Rolston, Lorraine (Fern) Coderre, sisters in law Joyce and Doris and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father and brothers Cliff and Bill. Les worked for the city of Williams lake at a young age and then after a few years moved to Vancouver and worked for Dominion Bridge. After a couple of years there he moved to Avola, BC. He bought a logging truck and went into business for himself. Though the years he had up to three trucks working and decided it was time to do something else. He kept the trucks and bought a loader and went into loading logs. He Loved it! As people said, he was one of the best loader operators in the valley. In 2000 they bought their forever home in Clearwater, BC. When he retired, he spent most of his time on their piece of paradise by the river. His gardens were the best and ‘Oh wow’ he could grow sunflowers!!
