August 7, 1943 – January 24, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Lalonde, a beloved mother, grandmother, and foster parent, who left this world on January 24 at 12:30 p.m. in Kamloops, B.C., Canada. Surrounded by loved ones as she went home to the lord.

Sandra was a pillar of strength, resilience, and love throughout her life. Born on August 7, 1943. She embraced every moment with a spirit of kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her. Sandra’s warmth and compassion were evident in the way she cared for her family and the many foster children she welcomed into her home.

Sandra is survived by her three devoted sons: Wayne, James, and Daniel, and Sisters Debbie and Margaret. She was predeceased by her late daughter, Suzanne, and her siblings Donna and Dave who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in heaven.

Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity, as she is survived by 19 great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit will live on through the generations, as she played a significant role in shaping the lives of those she held dear.

Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Sandra’s life was a testament to the power of love, selflessness, and resilience. In her passing, we remember her as a beacon of strength and kindness, and we find solace in the knowledge that her legacy will continue to inspire those she touched.
