Samuel Stanbury Bailey

February 16, 1932 – December 12, 2023
Born February 16, 2023, in Devon, Alberta, died unexpectedly on December 22, 2023, at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops B.C.
He was predeceased by his father Samuel Berriman Bailey and mother Annie Elizabeth Lee. His siblings Robert (Maria), Doris, Gordon (Helen), Phyllis (Rudy), sister-in-law Ethel and beloved wife Sharon Robinson.
He is survived by brother Lloyd and children (from marriage to Marilyn Fischer) sons Paul(Tracy) and Alan and daughter Elizabeth (Greg). Also by grandchildren Brandon (Serenna), Ryley (Madison), Ethan, Maverick, Tressa, Grace, Brynn and Evie.
Stan was a jack of all trades and had a variety of jobs before finally settling into his final calling as an ordained United Church minister in May of 1983. Stan touched the lives of many whether it was thru congregation, counseling, baptisms, wedding or funerals.
He spent his early life in Alberta but made the move to B.C. in the late 1960s to settle there. In 2003, Stan and Sharon moved to Kamloops where they spent the remainder of their days living at RiverBend Seniors Community with their dog Pumpkin.
Stan will be dearly missed and remembered by all his family immediate and extended as well as friends around the country.
