January 28, 1943 – October 26, 2018
Edward is survived by the love of his life, wife Catherine and loving son, Curtis and many extended family members.
He passed away peacefully on October 26, 2018 at Royal Inland Hospital with his wife and son by his side.
He spent the majority of his career working Road Maintenance for the Department of Highways in Kamloops and Savona. He also worked as a PDI technician at Dearborn Motors. His final job “after retirement” was working for his friend, Brian Taylor of Taylor & Sons.
He very much enjoyed fishing and the outdoors but his primary focus was spending time with his beloved family. His second love, for anyone that knew him, was his love of cars and the friends he made along the way.
He was an accomplished albeit competitive dart player, an amazing gardener and his attention to detail was second to none especially when it came to his cars. He was an avid Seahawks fan with a shirt for each day of the week.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Drakes Cremation and Funeral Services.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2019 by request of Catherine and Curtis for many of those that travel to avoid the ever changing winter road conditions.
By request of Edward, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kamloops Hospice Association or your charity of choice.
