It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Rousseau, known to friends as “DANO” was taken from us tragically at the age of 63. Dano will be forever remembered and loved by his wife and best friend Elaine Stevens, sons Jeremy and Josh, stepson Ken, sisters Annette (Mike) Johnston, Francine, Rene (Greg) Willford, sister in-law Valerie, numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and his dog Jackie. Predeceased by his father Jean-Marc, Mother Pauline (Berger) and Brother Claude.
Dano was born in Coronach, Sask., and grew up on a farm and learned to operate equipment at an early age. Dano had a special place in his heart for his Grandma Rousseau and had many loving memories to share of their time together. He came to BC in the early eighties fell in love with the beauty and decided to stay, Dano called Kamloops home for the past 8 years. Dano was a loader operator, loved working in a gravel pit, he could spot a pit a mile away, but Dano’s true love was being at home with his wife and dog. Dano was known to his friends for his hilarious stories, sense of humour, and most of all for his love for life.
At his request there will be no service. Dano’s saying was “Tell your loved one’s how you feel about them in life, not in death.”
Condolences may be sent to the family at DrakeCremation.com
