October 15, 1950 – March 1, 2025 

It is with extreme sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Rod on March 1, 2025, in Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. He was raised in the Rimbey area of Alberta and, after living in Terrace and Kamloops, Rod moved to Chase in 1978. 

A wonderful husband, father, brother and friend, Rod will be forever remembered for his love of life, his love of sports and his love for family and friends. Rod was predeceased by his parents, Clara and Emil, his daughter Lisa, his son Steven and special brother-in-law Ray McGinnis. Rod leaves to mourn, his loving wife Nan, his children Stacy, Jodi and Sean Bentley, his grandchildren Nate, Liam, Halo and Coleman and his precious sister Donna McGinnis and her family. He treasured his Slowfolks and M.O.R.E. families and all his wonderful friends. 

There will be no service, as per Rods request. Rest in perfect peace, Dearest Rod
