May 15, 1946 – September 23, 2025 

I need to share some very sad news. The Man, the Myth, the Legend… Al Schrader, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, cracking jokes until the end. 

Allan is survived by his loving wife Donna, his sons Lawrence and Darren, grandchildren Luke, Emily, Jacob, Lili and Megan, and goddaughter Isabella. 

So many, many people will miss playing crib with him, talking football, his big hugs, and the way he could light up a room. 

A viewing will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11 at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Dr. 

Big Al’s Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12.
