Quast, Charlotte "Lottie"

Charlotte (Lottie) Quast nee Campbell was born in Ross Township to Ender and Catherine. She had 5 brothers Horricks, Glen, R.D., Sidney and Lorne and 1 sister Christena.

Charlotte married her soul mate Percy in 1956. They started their family in Ontario. Together they had 1 daughter Marilyn in 1956 and 1 son Brian in 1958 to complete their family. In 1977 Percy and Charlotte headed west where they found their home in Logan Lake. In 2002 they moved to Kamloops where Charlotte remained until 2019.

Charlotte loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed having company with coffee and snacks readily available – especially her chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed supporting her grandchildren in their various adventures and was always first to arrive with her camera loaded and ready. She enjoyed traveling to visit her family and friends who remained back east. In her later years when traveling wasn’t as easy, Charlotte ensured she kept in touch with her family and friends by setting time aside each evening to make her calls. Her true joy was in helping family and friends and embracing their happiness.

She loved her 3 grandchildren Mark, Chrissy and Tammy and her 3 great grandchildren Gavin, Logan and Quinn. She proudly displayed their photos and took every opportunity to brag about what they were doing to anyone who would listen.

Charlotte passed away on December 27th 2019. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends; and will be forever remembered for her generosity and heart of gold.
