1990 – 2016
Adam Pouliot suddenly and tragically passed away on the morning of July 27th 2016 in Vernon B.C. He was 26 years old.
He was the youngest son of Leo and Melanie Pouliot’s three children.
Adam embraced life and lived every day to the fullest. He was gentle, caring and had a vibrant, charismatic nature. His wit and charm would light up a room. He had a great sense of humor and liked to tease. He was physically active, enjoying and excelling in many sports. He especially loved golf, skiing and recreational body building.
He loved the outdoors, camping and nature. Adam was great with children and made them feel special and loved. His greatest desire in life was to marry and have a family. Adam was skilled in many trades specializing in iron work and cladding. He had an impeccable work ethic and gave 100% to everything he put himself into. He was a great conversationalist, inquisitive, always challenging the norm in traditional thinking. Adam always made an impact. He was a talented musician, following the path of his oldest brother Marc, playing and composing songs on his guitar.
Adam joins his brother Marc as they soar on the wings of eagles, playing their music in our hearts and reminding us to live, laugh and love deeply and passionately.
Adam is survived by his loving parents, Melanie and Leo Pouliot and his brother James Pouliot. Adam is predeceased by his oldest brother Marc Pouliot, his Grandma Nadine Collingridge Hillis, Grandpa Jim Collingridge, Grandma Gisele Pouliot Burnside, Grandpa Jean Pouliot.
Should friends desire, donations can be made to the Wulf Trotter Memorial Bursary for Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks, www.adaptivesportsatsunpeaks.org This perpetual bursary will offer students of ASSP opportunities to further develop the same love of the mountain experience as Adam and his family have enjoyed for many years.
