Angela Porco born May 24, 1958 passed away peacefully on January 10, 2016. Angela was surrounded by her loving family. She will be forever missed by her mother Mafalda; her devoted sister Silvana ; and her sister Ivana (Dan) Baudin. She will also be missed by her nephew, Michael who she enjoyed. She was predeceased by her Father, Fiore.
She will be missed by her many aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Angela was a gentle soul. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and being able to share in the small pleasures we take for granted. She always enjoyed a coffee or cookie with whoever stopped by. She enjoyed helping her mother and sister’s bake, when she knew there would be goodies after. She loved to sneak treats, and make it seem that she did nothing.
She enjoyed listening to all types of music. She loved singing and dancing with the Sisters from St Ann’s and having coffee with priests from Sacred Heart Cathedral who would visit her and her mother regularly.
Family was her joy, and her comfort.
We would like to thank all people who helped Angela during her stay in ICU. You are all amazing individuals, and should all be commended for your dedication to your profession. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
A Funeral service will be held for her at Sacred Heart Cathedral, on Jan 14, at 11 am. Father Andrew will be presiding. A private family interment will follow at the Mausoleum.
