February 8, 1945 – June 5, 2026
Norman (Norm) George Kinsella is survived by his wife Kathy and sons Ian and Grant (Sabrina), granddaughters Fiona and Haley and his sister Linda.
Norm was born in Montreal, educated in Calgary, and spent his career in Quebec, B.C., and Alberta teaching and administering ESL programs and policies. Norm was a longtime model railroader with a wonderful eye for detail on the layouts and models that he built from scratch. His love of music and his passion for trains will be remembered by us all.
Thanks to the staff at the Marjory Snowden Hospice in Kamloops for their care and kindness during Norm’s final weeks.
A memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, August 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre, 1159 Passchendaele Rd., Sorrento, B.C.
If you wish to make a donation in memory of Norm, we would suggest the Kamloops Hospice, 72 Whiteshield Cres. S, Kamloops, V2E 2S9 or Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre, Box 99, Sorrento, B.C. V0E 2W0.
You may offer a message of condolence at Cypress Funeral and Cremations Services for the Kinsella family.
