On Sept 17, 2017 Anna Mette Nielsen passed away, with family by her side, after a long and full life. She leaves behind her children Niels (Johanna), George (Ruth), Ole (Linda), Johan (Jean) and Gundhild (Bob). She also leaves behind 34 grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great, great, grandchild.

Anna moved to Canada from Denmark in 1958 with her loving husband and 5 children. Farming was their life and they worked hard together allowing Anna and Gunnar to purchase a farm in the Haynes area. A dream come true for them.

Anna enjoyed working beside her husband and also traveling in their retirement. Above all she enjoyed spending time with family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgeview Lodge in Kamloops for their care and attention.

There will be a celebration of Life for Anna at the Alix United Church Saturday October 7, 2017 at 11:00. This will be open to the public with refreshments to follow.
