Gladys Nora Morrison, Our loving Mother of 4 sons, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully in her 95th year on November 16, 2016. Leaving behind four much loved sons, 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grand children.
Besides being a loving and very caring mother, Nora was also a transport driver overseas in WW 2 being with the first group of Canadian Ladies (R.C.A.F.) to go overseas where she met, married and remained married to our father (an Officer in the R.C.A.F) for 73 happy years. Nora remained working with the federal government and in other positions until they both retired to the home that they built in Kamloops in 1963.
She will be sorely missed by all.
We’d like to give a grateful thank you to Dr. Hollman and all those who eased Mom’s pain near the end.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the New Life Mission.
A small graveside service will be held at 12:30 on Nov. 25th. at Hillside Cemetery with a small reception to be held at the Morrison home, 625 Comox Ave. at about 2:30
